The Paraiso Eco Lodge is surrounded by 200 hectares of primary tropical rainforest and is located near Puyo on the highway to Macas. This property is part of a rescue and reforestation project designed to save what is left of the fragile and already damaged ecosystems in the area.
“Paraiso” truly is paradise on earth where you will see the sun rising above the jungle of a morning and setting behind the snow capped Andes of a night. This magical place is populated by brightly coloured majestic birds and is surrounded by pristine waterfalls that feed the crystal clear creeks and rivers that criss cross the jungle and are perfect for swimming in the warm weather.
With our Eco Tourism and Reforestation projects in this area we helping ensure that the locals have an alternative source of income rather than poaching rare and endangered wildlife and working for the many timber companies that are rapidly destroying this fragile ecosystem.
