However, in the face of these challenges, the resilience of the Ecuadorian spirit has emerged triumphant. Today, on January 10th, 2024, we bear witness to this resilience as we celebrate our successful ascent of Chimborazo, gearing up for more climbs tomorrow and on Saturday.

Following the recent events, the Ecuadorian government has steadfastly supported its citizens, ensuring the safety and well-being of both locals and visitors. This support extends to the tourism sector, including us, as we continue to pursue our passion for climbing amidst Ecuador’s breathtaking landscapes.

Stringent security measures are in effect, including a 60-day curfew from 11 pm to 5 am, underscoring the commitment to restoring and preserving order. Despite these measures, the unbroken spirit of the Ecuadorian people persists, exemplified by our successful morning climb of Chimborazo.
