Ecuador Eco Adventure was the only adventure company for the official delegation from Ecuador at the FITUR tourism festival in Spain. Countries from every continent were present at FITUR to show off their famous tourism sites such as the Mayan pyramids of Quintana Roo or the snow-capped Killamanjaro.
The first 3 days of the fair were for only tourism companies and entrepreneurs who come to do business and consolidate alliances. The last 2 days were open to the general public, so there are exhibitions of dances, typical costumes, and traditional food from representative countries. Jake is originally from Sydney and co-founded Ecuador Eco Adventure with Wlady back in 2006. Together they built one of the country's most prominent climbing and hiking agency that is number one in summit attempts of Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Antisana, and Cayambe. Ecuador Eco Adventure has since been recommended in National Geographic Adventure, The Rough Guide, and the Lonely Planet.
